It’s hot AF outside, but we promise these new releases are hotter.

August is a time for recharging, resting, and enjoying the last shred of summer while we’ve still got it. The confidence of Leo season has us excited for nights out on the town—and a bevy of fashion launches that will tide you over the languorous, every-day-feels-like-Sunday month. We’re starting out super hype-y with Ganni’s latest collab with Levi’s, Nordstrom’s new collection made in partnership with Virgil Abloh Securities, Zara Atelier’s fresh range of dresses, and much more. Keep your eye on this space as we cover the news you need throughout the month.

Who: Ganni and Levi’s

Where: Available online at ganni.com, in select retailers worldwide, and at a Copenhagen pop-up shop through Aug. 14

Why: When it comes to dressing the modern-day girl, Ganni has the aesthetic down to a science. In case you need further proof, peep the Scandi brand’s third collaboration with Levi’s. Mother Nature is one of Ganni’s top priorities, both in practice and inspiration. This interest led to the sunny, relaxed collection of light jeans and cute dresses—made using over 60 percent sustainable materials and water-saving techniques—that are as perfect for street stomping as they are for a summer garden party. Emma Chamberlain joins the cast this go-around, frolicking in the fields for the campaign, as one does in the summertime. The collection debuted as part of Ganni’s SS23 Copenhagen Fashion Week show, and is operating on a see-now, buy-now basis, so go forth and shop!

Where: Available online at shop.aman.com, in select retailers, and in Aman boutiques at Aman destinations globally

What: For those in the know, Aman is the go-to destination for wellness, relaxation, and views (hello, Amangiri!). The lifestyle brand has become synonymous with a refined, subtle luxury which translates perfectly into its highly successful ready-to-wear line that debuted last year. Now, Aman is introducing a super-luxe line of leather goods that will have you covered, from passport holders and key chains to the most buttery Italian leather tote imaginable. Has the wanderlust hit yet?

What: New Concept 018: Virgil Abloh Securities

Where: Available online at nordstrom.com/newconcepts and in select Nordstrom stores nationally

Why: Virgil Abloh lived a life of prolific creativity, so, naturally, Virgil Abloh Securities was developed as a creative corporation to ensure the designer’s legacy lives on. Nordstrom recently partnered with the creative hub to bring the exhibit “Virgil Abloh: Figures of Speech” to life at the Brooklyn Museum, and worked closely with several of his platforms, including his brand Off-White, art store Canary Yellow, and creative studio Alaska Alaska, to create a New Concepts store. The shop-in-shop will have Off-White apparel, shoes, accessories, fragrance, a Denim Tears x Canary Yellow collab, and the State & Church museum exhibition merch. To top it all off, in classic Abloh fashion, Nordstrom will generously provide scholarships to promising young Black students through the Fashion Scholarship Fund’s Virgil Abloh Post-Modern Scholarship Fund, replete with a mentorship opportunity and direct donation. A consummate offering from one of the best minds the creative world has ever seen, this New Concept is not one to miss.

What: Atelier Collection 2: The Dress

Where: Available online at zara.com and in select stores

Why: Zara Atelier was created with the intention of focusing on a single piece and bringing an artful, carefully constructed take to a women’s wardrobe essential. The second collection revolves around dresses, reinterpreted in five different ways. Rich fabrics and metallic embellishments mix for a slightly punk, yet utterly refined feel. These designs are made in very limited quantities, so if one piques your interest, it’s best to move quickly.

Where: Available online at cottoncitizen.com, in Cotton Citizen stores, and at Cotton Citizen's Beverly Hills pop-up for a limited time

Why: Cotton Citizen, the industry’s go-to for the perfect tees, tanks, and cotton basics that deliver quality and style season after season, is getting into the denim game. The new range is sustainably minded and dedicated to craftsmanship and nostalgia, taking sartorial inspiration from co-founders Adam and Liran Vanunu’s father’s personal collection of blue jeans. Consisting of three women’s styles—the Cindy, the Naomi, and the Kate—and two men’s styles—the Marley and the Dylan—plus a genderless shirt jacket, the pieces all encapsulate the icons they’re named after, and are made using sustainable practices. It’s time to refresh your stack of tried-and-true blues.

Who: Emma Mulholland on Holiday and Vans

Where: Available online at vans.com and emonholiday.com

Why: Emma Mulholland on Holiday, the cult Aussie label known for its vacation-ready matching separates with bold patterns and a souvenir-style aesthetic that counts Hailey Bieber as a fan, is definitely one to watch. So, naturally, it’s teamed up with every It girl’s go-to sneaker brand Vans on a genderless capsule of ready-to-wear and shoes, reimagined in EM on Holiday-approved colors. The only thing missing is the beach, so go ahead and Google the next flight to, say, San Juan, immediately if not sooner.

What: Pasticcino bag made with Fortuny fabric

Where: Available online at maxmara.com and in Max Mara stores globally

Why: Few names are as synonymous with Venice as Fortuny. The storied textile manufacturer, founded in 1907 by Mariano Fortuny, is as renowned for its iconic Delphos dress as it is for its rich velvets and brocades. It makes sense, then, that Max Mara has collaborated with the brand to channel all the romance of the Floating City with its latest bag, the appropriately named Pasticcino (translation: éclair). And what a treat it is, with hand-loomed silk brocade, a clasp topped with two coordinating Murano glass balls, and a removable chain strap.

Where: Available online at tomford.com

Why: No stranger to sustainability, Tom Ford is reinvigorating his collection of ocean plastic timepieces with the N.004 design. Casual and simple to wear, the minimalist watch, available in black and white, features a braid strap made from 100 percent ocean plastic that can be interchanged for when you feel like mixing things up.

Where: Available online at nft.tiffany.com on Aug. 5

Why: When you’re the world’s biggest jeweler, you can’t ignore the hype of online marketplaces like the NFT blockchain. So, after Tiffany’s Alexandre Arnault shared a picture of his custom Tiffany CryptoPunk necklace, inspired by his own NFT, the jewelry juggernaut teamed up with blockchain technology company Chain to create a NFT of the design. Each NFTiff, as they are cheekily called, will draw from the over 10,000 CryptoPunk NFTs to create a pendant with gemstones and diamonds that is every bit unique. A select run of 250 pendants will be physically produced, if you’re an IRL kind of shopper.
