Santa Claus will visit Huntington Green’s annual tree lights from 5pm on Sunday, December 1st

Starting on November 26th, Connecticut towns will offer free cookies, cocoa, photos of Santa Claus on fire trucks, and numerous carols as part of the town’s holiday tree-lighting celebration.

Kick off the festival with these 23 tree lantern festivals, activities and ceremonies in Connecticut. 

This tree light event includes carols, ice sculptures, bonfires and Santa Claus on fire trucks.

On Friday, November 24, 2017, more than 2,000 people attended the 32nd Annual Holiday Street Celebration in Middletown. Activities include dance and choir performances, hay carts, festive parades and tree light ceremonies, followed by fireworks.

This Middletown tree light is part of the month-long "Holiday on the Street" celebration. The lights on the Christmas tree will feature popcorn, hot pretzels and free carriage rides.

This tree light event in Putnam will include hot chocolate, Christmas cookies, sweets and Santa’s arrival on the firetruck.

This Norwalk tree lamp will feature carols and Santa Claus visits. The supplier fair will be held before the lighting.

This tree light event in Waterbury will include horse and carriage rides, Santa Claus visits, Christmas carols, popcorn balls, hot chocolate, donuts and live music. Anyone who brings non-perishable food will get a hot dog for free.

This Bridgeport tree lighting ceremony will include children's activities, visits to Santa Claus, food vendors, etc.

The tree lighting ceremony will be held in Greenwich City Hall.

This holiday event on Main Street in Wethersfield will include tree lighting, jugglers, food vendors, carols, Santa Claus visits, carriage rides and more.

This tree lighting takes place in New Haven Green.

This Trumbull tree light will play live Christmas music.

The tree lights in the gazebo of the City Hall will be visited by Santa Claus. The town will also collect toys and non-perishable food donations.

On the first night of the Bethlehem Christmas Town Festival, there will be a lighting ceremony for the town’s 85-foot Christmas tree.

On Friday, December 4, 2020, after lighting a tree at the Danbury Public Library in downtown Danbury, Connecticut, decorated Danbury Fire Brigade trucks marched through downtown Danbury during a parade. Celebrate the beginning of the Christmas holiday. The coronavirus pandemic forced the event to be scaled down and displayed online.

This Danbury tree light celebration will include cookies, carols, hot chocolate and a visit to Santa.

This free resort event is open to the public and will showcase Santa’s photos, tree lights, cookie decorations and free Christmas cookies, hot cocoa and coffee.

The Easton Library will host this handicraft fair, and will use biscuits and hot chocolate, carols and Santa Claus to visit trees to illuminate it.

This tree light will play Christmas music, performances at the Shelton Project Dance Center, carols, cocoa, snacks, the visit of the Mayor of Shelton and the appearance of Santa.​​​

This annual parade and tree light event includes visits of Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, ice sculptures, handicrafts and reindeer food, bonfire parties, performances, carriage rides and snacks.

This tree lighting event at Fairfield University will display photos of Santa Claus and Fairfield U mascot Lucas Bucks, as well as live music performances and free cookies and cocoa.

For the Highland and Lights event held in downtown Stamford this year, Santa Claus landed at One Landmark Plaza a few days in advance. The New York Yankees' TV channel YES Network will broadcast the annual celebration and tree lighting instead of live events.

This tree light event will also allow Santa Claus to descend from Landmark Square, one of the tallest buildings in Stamford. There will also be live music and fireworks shows at this event.
