He played for the Missouri Tigers in 2012 and was selected to the National Football League four years later.
Joined the Seattle Seahawks in 2016.
It is not clear when he left the NFL, but according to his Instagram resume, Clayton is now engaged in orthopedic sales.
His love journey will be broadcast on ABC in early 2022.

32-year-old Rick came to the show from his hometown of Monroe Falls, Ohio.

Fans were very upset, and even said it was "painful" to watch Michel eliminate his favorite Oulu.

At the rose ceremony before returning home for the last time, Michelle gave the remaining two roses to Brandon and Knight.
She called Joe's name first, and there was only one rose between Rick, Rodney, and Oulu.
Looking nervous, she called Rodney's name as the last rose recipient.

Parents’ blessings
Brandon asked to be alone with Michelle's parents and took time to ask for their blessings if he proposed marriage at the end of the season.
"I'm an old soul," he explained, and then asked her parents for permission.
"I believe in Michelle, so if she agrees to an offer, you have my blessing," her mother told him.
When Brandon and Michelle were making out in her parents' jacuzzi, the mother and father of the single girl unexpectedly returned home.
The couple received love advice from Michelle's parents, and they have been married for more than 30 years.
When asked what words of wisdom they must provide, Michelle's mother gushed about her husband: "He is my best friend.
"And in very difficult situations, he always put me first."
Michelle took Brandon to her childhood home and told him to walk down the Memory Path.
Although her parents were not at home, Brandon was able to catch a glimpse of Michelle's growing up experience.
Before taking him to visit her old bedroom, she took him through the corridor of high school and family photos.
Then the two went to enjoy a romantic bath in the jacuzzi in her backyard.
After being eliminated, Martin continued to deceive himself and made a series of offensive remarks against Michelle.
"I won't be sad because I'm going home or I won't go home. I'm so sad that she handled it like that.

Fan favorite Oulu warned Michel about several "red flags" he saw with other contestants Martin.
According to Oulu, Martin said that Michelle "still hadn't dealt with" her past, which he regarded as a "red flag".
Upon learning of this, Michelle stated that she "has no reason to distrust Oulu", and Martin has "raised some concerns about her" in the past.

According to reports, Clayton began filming his single season shortly after being sent home.
Tonight, during their romantic one-on-one date, Clayton almost burst into tears when he was sent home by Michelle.
"I know that sending this rose means you will meet my family, I just don't think I can get there in time.
"Not giving you this rose does not mean you are not enough," she told the emotional suitor.
"I'm sorry I can't do that, I hope you can find what you are looking for," he replied kindly.
Michelle admits that her romantic relationship with Clayton "is missing something."

The sharp-eyed audience noticed that the producer used an old cry from the former bachelor Katie Thurston in the trailer for the show on Tuesday.
The sound of Katie's sobbing is played in a scene in the new preview where Michelle paces back and forth on the beach, holding her head in her hands and looking tearful.
An internet detective pointed out the failure on Reddit and shared a video of Katie crying in the original scene with a video of Michelle crying in the new video.
